Memory System
Unlike chatbots, Get A Team employees have persistent long-term memory. They remember all interactions and learn from them over time.
How Memory Works
Every interaction is stored and indexed. Your AI employees remember:
- Past conversations - Complete chat history with context
- User preferences - Communication style, likes, dislikes
- Instructions - Guidelines and rules you've provided
- Project details - Tasks, deadlines, requirements
- Relationships - Connections between people and topics
Memory Types

Memory Management
You can view and manage memory from the employee profile:
- View Memory - See what the employee remembers about you
- Edit Memory - Correct or add information manually
- Clear Memory - Reset specific memories or all
- Export Memory - Download memory data as JSON
Clear Session vs Clear Memory
These are different actions:
- Clear Session (in Chat Options) - Resets only the current conversation, keeps long-term memory
- Clear Memory (in Employee settings) - Removes stored memories, starts fresh
Privacy Note
Memory is stored locally on your server. It never leaves your infrastructure and is fully encrypted at rest.
