Setting Up API Keys
Get A Team uses BYOA (Bring Your Own Accounts) - you provide your own API keys for full control over costs and usage.
Keep your keys secure
Never share your API keys. They are stored encrypted on your server and never transmitted to us.
Required Integrations

Claude (Anthropic)
Required for all AI conversations and reasoning capabilities. Claude uses a login-based authentication system.
- During onboarding, click Connect with Anthropic
- Sign in to your Anthropic account (or create one at console.anthropic.com)
- Authorize Get A Team to access your Claude API
- You'll be redirected back automatically
Note: Make sure you have a payment method configured in your Anthropic account for API usage.
Google Gemini
Used for additional AI capabilities and processing.
- Go to Google AI Studio
- Sign in with your Google account
- Click Create API Key
- Select or create a Google Cloud project
- Copy the generated key
- In Get A Team: Settings → API Keys → paste in Gemini field
FAL (Optional)
Required for image and video generation features.
- Go to fal.ai
- Create an account
- Navigate to API Keys in your dashboard
- Create a new key and copy it
- In Get A Team: Settings → API Keys → paste in FAL field
Cost Control
With BYOA, you have full visibility and control over API costs. Set up billing alerts in each service's dashboard to monitor usage.
