Email Setup (MX/SPF/DKIM)

Configure DNS records to enable email integration for your AI employees.

Required DNS Records

Add these records to your domain's DNS settings:

MX Record

Points incoming email to Get A Team servers.

MX Record
Type: MX
Host: @ (or your subdomain)
Value: mail.your-instance.elestio.app
Priority: 10

SPF Record

Authorizes Get A Team to send email on behalf of your domain.

SPF Record
Type: TXT
Host: @
Value: v=spf1 include:your-instance.elestio.app ~all

DKIM Record

Cryptographically signs outgoing emails.

DKIM Record
Type: TXT
Host: getateam._domainkey
Value: (provided in your dashboard)

DMARC Record

Defines policy for handling authentication failures.

DMARC Record
Type: TXT
Host: _dmarc
Value: v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; rua=mailto:admin@yourdomain.com

Verification

  1. Add all DNS records to your domain
  2. Wait for propagation (up to 48 hours)
  3. Go to Settings → Email in Get A Team
  4. Click "Verify DNS"
  5. All checks should show green

DNS Propagation

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate worldwide. If verification fails, wait a few hours and try again.
