Setting Up API Keys

Every Geta.Team plan includes credits to power your AI employees. You can optionally configure your own API keys (BYOK) for advanced use cases or custom model access.

Keep your keys secure

Never share your API keys. They are stored encrypted on your server and never transmitted to us.

AI Provider (Choose One)

You need at least one AI provider for conversations. Choose between Claude, Gemini, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.

Option 1: Claude (Anthropic)

  1. During onboarding, click Connect with Anthropic
  2. Sign in to your Anthropic account (or create one at console.anthropic.com)
  3. Authorize Get A Team to access your Claude API
  4. You'll be redirected back automatically

Option 2: Custom Provider (Ollama, OpenAI, etc.)

  1. Go to Settings → LLM Providers
  2. Click Add Provider
  3. Enter Name, Base URL (e.g., http://localhost:11434/v1 for Ollama), Auth Token, and Model Name
  4. Select a display color and click Create

Perfect for on-premise deployments where data must stay on your infrastructure.

Google Gemini

Used for additional AI capabilities and processing.

  1. Go to Google AI Studio
  2. Sign in with your Google account
  3. Click Create API Key
  4. Select or create a Google Cloud project
  5. Copy the generated key
  6. In Get A Team: Settings → API Keys → paste in Gemini field

FAL (Optional)

Required for image and video generation features.

  1. Go to fal.ai
  2. Create an account
  3. Navigate to API Keys in your dashboard
  4. Create a new key and copy it
  5. In Get A Team: Settings → API Keys → paste in FAL field

Cost Control

Your included credits cover all AI usage. Track consumption from your dashboard. If you use BYOK, you can also set up billing alerts in each provider's dashboard.
